As mentioned earlier, the main modules described above include several submodules. These submodules allow specific HR tasks to be mapped and managed.
An overview includes:
ESS and MSS significantly reduce the workload of the HR department by digitizing workflows. For example, employees can independently initiate processes in the system, such as time corrections, travel requests, or training registrations.
Structural authorizations ensure both security and efficiency. These can be used in conjunction with Organizational Management (OM), and the assignment of permissions is dynamic.
How it works: Permissions are assigned to positions within the organization. When an employee assumes that position, they automatically receive the corresponding permissions—an important advantage for IT security.
SAP HCM also enables employee evaluations to be conducted. The data recorded in the system serves as the basis for salary adjustments, variable compensation components, or bonuses.
Evaluations can also be linked with Event Management, ensuring quality control for training and development programs.
